If you're having trouble finding real food where you normally shop, this just might be the solution.
If you're not familiar with Weston A. Price, he was a dentist who, in the 1930's toured the world to figure out why western societies had so many dental problems while most native cultures had no dental problems at all. His conclusion? Food, primarily sugar, white flour and vegetable oils were responsible.
While I don't agree 100% with the Weston A Price Foundation's food guidelines (they're okay with sprouted and/or soaked grains and legumes as well as dairy) their recommendations are very close to Paleo. My personal view is that the downsides of grains, legumes and dairy outweigh any benefits.
That said, this app helps you find Real Food. And it makes it easy to find by listing categories and tells you whether the food is available locally or online. You do have to have a paid subscription to use it though: $20/year. If you've been having trouble finding real food, and you're willing to spend $1.67 a month to find it, try out the app.
