The word “routine” is sometimes used to describe something that’s boring and bland. But routines can be great things and allow you to accomplish your goals.
Here I am back at home after 2 weeks in Europe and it was actually easier for me to keep up with my posts, and with eating Paleo meals when I was in Poland. That’s pretty much because I had a lot of free time after I was done at the office there and then I’d just go to a restaurant to eat. Then I’d go back to the hotel and write up a post. Easy peasy and my company paid for that.
Back at home it’s been a little tougher to get adjusted to the new routine with the new commute (almost always by bike), new full time job and making meals. This all just emphasized to me how important it is to plan ahead and have an established routine for planning, shopping and cooking. It was a lot easier when I didn’t have a “regular” job and my days were a lot more flexible.
So I’m saying goodbye to the old routine and figuring out the new routine. Next week isn’t going to be “normal” for me as I have two long road trips coming up. After that, I’ll start posting more about what I’m finding is working best for planning, shopping, prepping and cooking. Stay tuned!
