There are a lot of tasty recipes out there that are full of ingredients that you’re much better off avoiding. Ingredients like soy sauce, vegetable oil, peanut butter, sugar, flour, and so on.
Case in point: I was looking for a good vegetable recipe to go with the Thai Style Pork Ribs that I was making tonight -- Yes, I made them last week. They’re so good I wanted more! I found a recipe for Thai Style Green Beans that looked pretty good, but had three of those ingredients above… soy sauce, canola oil and peanut butter. No problem! Substitute coconut aminos for the soy sauce, coconut oil for the canola oil and almond butter for the peanut butter. The green beans were awesome! I’ll post that recipe tomorrow.
