The best exercise ever is… the one you like doing.
Yes, I know this isn’t a very original thing to say, but it’s always worth re-stating.
If you don’t like what you’re doing for exercise, then you’re certainly not going to enjoy it. Or worse yet, you won’t do it.
So find something you like doing, and make it a part of your life. There are so many options… walking, hiking, cycling, weight lifting, yoga, pilates, rock climbing, running stairs, swimming, dancing, running sprints, workout at home, workout at a gym, workout with friends, martial arts, parkour, go to a playground, play a sport like basketball or soccer or softball, play catch with a ball or frisbee… I’m sure I missed about 100 other options.
My favorites are cycling and workouts that include weight lifting. I like to push myself and with both of those, you can keep improving and setting personal records.
Just find something you enjoy and get out there and do it!
