Grilled Asparagus

I almost didn’t post this recipe because it’s so easy that it’s hard to call it a recipe. But I know that there are a lot of people that don’t think to grill vegetables and they’re so good when you do! Simple. Easy. Delicious!

Prep time: 3 minutes

Cooking time: 5-7 minutes

Serves: 4+

 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb bunch of fresh asparagus

  • 2T extra virgin olive oil

  • Himalayan salt or sea salt to taste

  • Freshly ground pepper to taste

  • Optional: 1 or 2 cloves of pressed garlic

 

Instructions

  • Warm a gas grill to 350 degrees

  • Cut about ½ - 1 inch off the ends of the asparagus. You can just bunch them all up and cut all the ends off at once with a large knife.

  • Place the asparagus in a shallow dish and drizzle it with the olive oil. You can use a brush to make sure they’re all coated or you can stir them around.

  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste

  • Add the garlic if you’re using it

  • Place the asparagus directly on the grill (if they’re big enough the won’t fall through) or on a grill plate and cook for 3-4 minutes.

  • Turn them, stir them, mix them up and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until they’re bright green and still crisp.

  • That’s all!
